Hans Rosenthal (1925–1987) sought refuge from persecution as a Jew in the “Trinity” Allotment Gardens. Here, three local women hid and provided for him.
After the liberation, Rosenthal became one of the most popular West-German radio and television hosts (particularly with the quiz show “Dalli, Dalli!”). For a time, he was a member of the Central Council of Jews in Germany as well as Chairman of the Berlin Jewish Community’s Representative Assembly.
